Liisi Karindi (MA) has been dealing with topics related to modern China for more than 10 years. She obtained her MA degree from Heidelberg University, Germany, by specializing in Chinese social and economic policies. In addition, she has studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing and at Chinese Culture University in Taipei. In China, she last worked as a consultant for the Economic and Structural Reform Programme and for the programme Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration in Asia with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Beijing. Recently she worked as a GIZ consultant and a business lecturer in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
